[FoxlightAI®](/) [Vision](/vision)[Products](/products)[Open](/open)[Blog](/blog) Early Access LEGAL # Privacy Policy LAST UPDATED: AUGUST 30, 2026 This policy describes how FoxlightAI, Inc. and the Foxlight Foundation (together, "Foxlight", "we", "us") handle information across the foxlight.ai website and our applications, including Skulk and Skulk Operator. The short version: we are built around not collecting your data. Our products are designed so that your models, your conversations, and your compute stay yours. Beyond the basic technical traffic that any website or app requires to function (described below), where information leaves your devices it is either opt-in, anonymized, or unreadable to us by design - and this policy spells out exactly which is which. ## Skulk Skulk, our compute fabric for distributed AI, collects no user data. Running Skulk does not require an account with us, and nothing about your models, prompts, inference output, or cluster contents is sent to Foxlight. Skulk offers two strictly optional, independent opt-ins - crash tracing and cluster telemetry - each of which you can enable or leave off entirely: * Crash tracing sends us diagnostic traces when Skulk crashes, so we can find and fix the fault. * Cluster telemetry sends us operational metrics about cluster health and performance, so we can improve how Skulk runs on real hardware. Both streams are anonymized before they leave your machine and carry no inference output and no chat or prompt input - ever. Either opt-in can be revoked at any time from within Skulk, and revoking it stops the corresponding stream immediately. ## Skulk Operator Skulk Operator, our mobile app for managing your Skulk cluster, requires no Foxlight account and contains no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. It does not automatically collect information about you, your cluster, or your conversations. If you deliberately use Report beneath an assistant response, the app sends Foxlight only that selected response, the concern category you choose, an optional comment, the app version, and whether you use iOS or Android. It does not send your prompt, conversation history, cluster identity, model identity, or any other cluster data. The app removes suspected credential material before upload, and the service rejects report text that still resembles a credential. Reports are encrypted in transit, encrypted at rest, used only to investigate safety and quality concerns, never used for model training, and deleted within 90 days. The app gives you an opaque receipt ID; you may request earlier deletion by sending that receipt to support@foxlight.ai. All communication between Skulk Operator and your cluster passes through a blind relay operated by Foxlight and is fully encrypted end to end. The relay exists only to route encrypted traffic between your phone and your cluster; the encryption keys live solely on your devices. Foxlight cannot view, decrypt, or otherwise inspect the content of relayed traffic. ## Skulk Operator data deletion Skulk Operator has no Foxlight account and keeps conversations on your device. You can delete those local conversations in the app. Foxlight holds data from the app only when you deliberately report one assistant response. 1. After a report succeeds, keep or share the opaque receipt shown by the app. 2. Email support@foxlight.ai with that receipt and ask us to delete the report. 3. We will delete the encrypted report associated with that receipt. Reports not deleted early are deleted automatically within 90 days. A report contains only the selected assistant response, concern category, optional comment, app version, and mobile platform. It does not contain your prompt, conversation history, cluster or model identity, credentials, or normal end-to-end encrypted operator traffic. There is no Foxlight account data to retain or delete. ## The foxlight.ai website This website uses no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. Your preferences, such as theme and language, are stored locally in your browser and are not collected by us. Your language choice does shape which localized content your browser requests from our server, so it can appear in the standard operational logs described below, but it is not otherwise recorded or linked to you. Like nearly every website, our web servers keep standard, short-lived operational logs (such as IP address and browser type) used solely to keep the site running and secure. These logs are not used to profile you and are not shared with anyone. The site loads a few static assets from third-party content delivery networks - typefaces from Google Fonts and animation libraries from the jsDelivr CDN - so your browser requests those files directly from those services when a page loads, exposing standard connection metadata to them under their own privacy terms. Today the site fetches no remote configuration; if we later enable it (via Google Firebase), Google would additionally receive basic connection data plus a randomly generated installation identifier used solely to deliver configuration - and, per the commitment below, we will update this policy before turning that on. If you sign up for early access or updates through a form on this site, we collect the email address you submit - the only personal information you deliberately provide through this site, and only when you choose to give it. It is shared with Buttondown, the email delivery service we use, solely to send you those updates. It is never sold or used for anything else, every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can have your address deleted entirely by writing to legal@foxlight.ai. ## What we never do * We never sell your data. * We never collect, read, or train on your prompts, conversations, or inference output, except for the single assistant response you explicitly choose to report as described above. * We never embed advertising or third-party tracking in our products. * We never share the limited diagnostic data we do receive with third parties, except where the law requires it. ## Children Our products are not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. ## Changes to this policy If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change ever means a product would collect more than described here, the change will be prominently disclosed in the product itself before it takes effect, and any new collection will remain opt-in. ## Contact Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to support@foxlight.ai. Include a Skulk Operator report receipt if you want that report deleted before its automatic retention period ends. Because optional Skulk diagnostics are anonymized before they reach us, we cannot link those diagnostics back to you or your cluster after the fact; revoking an opt-in in Skulk stops any further collection immediately.
